As Stemilt’s Production Line Supervisor you are tasked with overseeing the work completed by Stemilters in the production line, ensuring that production goals are consistently being met. The Production Line Supervisor will use their strong interpersonal skills to work in cross functional Stemilt teams as well as follow the appropriate policies while carrying out supervisory responsibilities, this includes conducting hiring, training, disciplining, and coordinating schedules. This position supports four thousand Stemilters and it’s required to deliver extraordinary customer service at all levels, in addition to completing scheduling according to other department requirements, reading running orders and giving adequate instructions, and maintaining focus on goals and objectives for self and staff. Exceptional interpersonal skills a must.

Additional Responsibilities

· Complete appropriate administrative paperwork

· Resolve problems as they arise

· Maintain records of Stemilters working under your supervision

· Follow safety rules pertaining to job tasks

· Constantly look for ways to improve productivity, increase work quality and morale

· Monitor Quality Control and Production packing supplies

· Quality control boxes for color, grade, wax, and carton

· Maintain good communication with logistics, managers, mechanics, growers and vendors

· Maintain and develop standard operating procedures

· Be an example and advocate of the Stemilt Handbook and Stemilt Safety programs

· Stay up to date on hiring procedures and Stemilt policies

· Create a culture within the team that leads to ensuring extraordinary customer service for all team members.

· Hold self and team accountable and ensure the development of a self-leadership team culture.

· Contribute to the team and the Company in various other ways when requested or required.

Experience:

· +6 months experience in Production

· Working knowledge of MS Office and Oracle

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree (A.A) from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent education and/or related experience. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus but not required.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to be productive and can identify and resolve issues in a timely manner

· Knowledgeable in regard to fruit grade, sizes, varieties, packs, machinery and supplies

· Ability to develop and work within budget limitations

· Ability to perform detailed functions and make quick informative decisions during high pressure

· Highly organized as well as punctual

· A desire to create strategy and design of an environment that creates a World Famous! employee experience

· Ability to be analytical and handle data effectively, efficiently and with extreme confidentiality
