As Stemilt’s Sales Support Specialist you are charged with assisting and supporting the sale of fresh produce. The Sales Support Specialist will work closely with a wide array of Stemilt departments including developing team collaborations. As a Stemilt Sales Support Specialist duty will include reviewing inventory, working with outside packing facilities, corresponding with customers, understanding of customer pricing, attending meetings, familiarizing yourself with customer requirements, and working with our Stemilt Customer Engagement team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a must.
Additional Responsibilities
- Understand dates of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production schedules.
- Maintain and manage customer requirements into computer database
- Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
- Answer phones, take accurate messages and transfer calls
- Coordinate Sales with other Stemilt departments.
- Working with our Transportation Team
- Advanced problem solving
- Recommend changes in service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Foster a positive and pleasant working relationship with members of the Sales Support Specialist Team.
- Dependable with proficient attention to detail
Experience:
- Familiarity with fast-paced/noisy work environment
- Functional knowledge of/experience with the following Microsoft products: Outlook, Excel, Teams, Power BI
Reports to: Sales Support Manager

Qualifications:
Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A desire to create strategy and design of an environment that creates a World Famous! employee experience.
- Comfortable with verbal communications, in person, and via telephone
- Ability to deliver high quality results with an exceptional transparent, consultative, and partnering attitude.
