Location: Mattawa Capstone Area – Agricultural Services

Working Shift: Day Shift

Hours & Work Days: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday; May vary depending on harvest.

Responsibilities/ Duties: These persons will assist the orchard Managers during cherry and apple harvest; operating machinery to get fruit bins out of the orchard blocks and unto the loading areas, or by spraying the orchards. Other duties may encompass other than the duties listed.

Requirements:

• Qualified individuals must live in the Mattawa Capstone area
• Must have knowledge of fruit varieties
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must also be able to work with little supervision or no supervision
• Good attendance and flexible with working schedule is a must
• Bilingual desired; Must have a positive attitude
• Must have ability to lift up a minimum 60 lbs

Working Shift: Turno de Día

Hours & Work Days: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, con trabajo en las tardes y los fines de semana. Puede variar depende de la cosecha.

Responsabilidades/Deberes: Esta persona ayudará a los gerentes de las huertas durante la cosecha de cerezas y manzanas; operando maquinaria para estar sacando benes de frutas de los bloques del huertas y hacia las áreas de carga, o para estar rociando las huertas. Otros deberes pueden abarcar distintos de los deberes enumerados.

Requisitos:

• Deben vivir en el área de Mattawa Capstone
• Deben tener conocimiento de variedades de fruta
• Deben tener buena comunicación verbal como también escrita
• Deben poder trabajar con poca o nada de supervisión
• Debe tener buena asistencia y ser flexible con el horario de trabajo
• Se desea que las personas sean bilingües
• Deben tener una actitud positiva
• Deben tener la habilidad de levantar un mínimo de 60 lbs
• Deben tener experiencia conduciendo tractores y fumigando árboles de fruta
• Debe tener o poder obtener un Certificación de Escalera y Licencia para Aplicar Pesticidas
