Number of openings: 2 Fulltime, Year Round
Location: Old Station Plant
Working Shift: Day/Nights
Working Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday; Some Saturdays required.
May vary depending on production.

This position will require a pre-employment drug test

• Perform supervisor’s duties in his/her absence.
• Assist on site inspectors.
• Insures daily shipments are checked in advance and meet customer’s expectations.
• Monitor load times and shipping schedule to insure timelines are being met.
• Maintain positive work environment.
• Assign work duties to QC staff.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of product specifications and grade levels.
• Give accurate and timely feedback on product conditions.
• Monitor product quality individually and through QC staff.
• Monitor expired fruit list.
• Insure SQF, cleanliness and safety standards are maintained continuously.
• Evaluate and insure individual customer standards are met.
• Trouble shoot, confront and resolve, impediments to advance.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality specifications.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
• Oracle and Discoverer capabilities.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must be flexible with schedule.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English.
• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds.
